General Policies

  • All families are required to complete our legal waiver for enrollment.

  • Programs are scheduled by day. Same pick-up spot for all days.

  • No registration fee. The checkout price today is a deposit to hold a spot for a single student or two siblings.

  • We offer a 10% sibling discount! After you complete the booking for the first student, go back and book a second student using the code “SIBLING” under “Redeem Coupon”. Please note that we have a smaller capacity for pre-K enrollment so check the registration numbers at the calendar page for both groups before payment to guarantee spots for mixed age siblings.

  • No sessions during Thanksgiving Recess (Thursday - Friday November 23 - 24 ), Winter Recess (Monday - Monday December 25th - January 1st), and Staff Training (Thursday - Friday September 7 - 8)

Holiday camps are available for full-day and half-day DOE holidays.

  • Generally yes. However, each family is responsible for learning and consulting the individual calendars of their specific schools. Particularly for the half day camps some schools tend to not use or change the dates of some that are on the roster for the year.

  • Wild Ferns understands that holidays are tricky and families have many moving parts. When a camp date fills up we maintain a waitlist. If we are able to offer your child's spot to a waitlisted family you are eligible for a credit towards a future camp or refund of payment. You must contact the Director Ruta with as much advance notice as possible. In the event of illness a family will be eligible for a credit towards a future camp. Families who do not contact us and do not show up for an enrolled camp date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

  • No. Our holiday and after school programs are separate programs requiring staffing and planning for each. All after school tuitions are pro rated to not include any DOE holidays.

  • All attending students are required to wear closed toe shoes as well as a comfortable backpack packed with: a nut free lunch, full water bottle, optional afternoon snack, and any extra weather gear they require. For our fiddlehead ferns (pre-K) we recommend packing an extra change of clothes.

  • If your family plans change, we are happy to transfer your holiday camp credit to another date with advance notice, as long as group sizes permit. With one month of advance notice you are eligible for a full refund minus 10% credit card processing fees. With one week of advance notice you are eligible for a full credit. With less than one week of advance notice you are eligible for a credit minus $20. If your child is ill the day of our programming please do not send them to camp. Contact our Director Ruta ASAP so that she may offer the spot to a waitlisted family if available. Wild Ferns will offer holiday credits for camp days missed due to illness.
